Organizational Leadership, M.O.L.


Program Director: Dr. Tawnya Bernsdorf

The Master of Organizational Leadership program focuses on developing virtuous business leaders who promote human dignity and flourishing. The degree provides tools for developing people and teams, leading transition and change management, and providing strategies to meet organizational objectives and goals. Students will model and market the use of data and analytics to make informed leadership decisions.   

Program Outcomes

Students completing a Master of Organizational Leadership degree will be able to:

  1. Students will be able to integrate decisions utilizing Benedictine values, ethical frameworks, and professional standards.
  2. Students will be able to demonstrate professional business communication.
  3. Students will be able to interpret results from multiple business support tools to inform decision making.
  4. Students will be able to synthesize content from professional journals and scholarly research to make conclusions regarding business practices.
  5. Students will be able to present leadership recommendations in a virtual or face-to-face setting.
  6. Students will be able to evaluate the impact of leadership practices on organizational culture.

Major Requirements


Total: 36 Semester Credits


Program length: 1 academic year / 3 semesters / 52 weeks

  • Note: adding an additional optional certification is allowed, but will extend program length on average by one semester
