Today’s business leaders must combine expertise in their field with an ability to lead and manage in a complex and constantly changing business environment. The MBA program focuses on the application of business practices in a variety of organizational settings with an emphasis on accounting, finance and economics. With several optional areas of concentration, the degree can be tailored for specific career goals.
MBA Program Outcomes
Students completing a Master of Business Administration degree will be able to:
- Students will be able to integrate decisions utilizing Benedictine values, ethical frameworks, and professional standards.
- Students will be able to demonstrate professional business communication.
- Students will be able to interpret results from multiple business support tools to inform decision making.
- Students will be able to synthesize content from professional journals and scholarly research to make conclusions regarding business practices.
- Students will be able to evaluate problems facing a business and analyze the impact of potential solutions.
- Students will be able to assess business best practices using quantitative or qualitative research techniques.

Required Core
The following courses are core content for the MBA and are completed by all MBA students: Choose One: Certification
Students are required to select one certification program to complete the M.B.A. program.
Total: 36 Semester Credits
Program length: 1 academic year / 3 semesters / 52 weeks
- Note: adding an additional optional certification is allowed, but will extend program length on average by one semester
