NUR 353 - Adult Health Nursing Clinical This course promotes the development of clinical judgment and maintains an opportunity for practical application of the concepts learned in the didactic portion of NUR 329, NUR 337 and/or NUR 339 when taken as a repeat. Engaging in clinical experiences while repeating associated coursework is crucial to reinforce learning, enhance skills, and support the student’s success in both the clinical and theoretical components of the nursing program. This clinical practice course provides nursing practice experiences to foster the development of cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary for the nursing care of adults who have common health problems with predictable outcomes and chronic disease state that may have acute exacerbations. Clinical experiences include in-patient hospital units. Students are required to complete 60 hours for each repeated course.
