ADC 315 - Theory & Technique of ADC


This course provides information on addiction theories, application of theories, counseling techniques, AA and 12 step programs, assessment for substance use disorders, American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), criteria for the diagnosis of substance use disorders using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), treatment planning, documentation, and service coordination and referral.
