CTH 658 - Catholic Studies Through Theo & Arts


This course will approach a topic within the Catholic intellectual tradition through the disciplinary resources of theology and the arts (such as literature, music, visuals arts, etc.) in order to synthesize insights of both disciplines regarding the topic. Students will appreciate the nature and relation of the disciplines and the habits of mind they involve. Topics may include theodicy and narrative, theological aesthetics, experiencing the sacred in music, etc.
