CTH 654 - Catholic Studies through Philosophy & Art This course will approach a topic within the Catholic intellectual tradition through the disciplinary resources of philosophy and the arts (such as literature, music, visuals arts, etc.) in order to synthesize insights of both disciplines regarding the topic. Students will appreciate the nature and relation of the disciplines and the habits of mind they involve. Topics may include Aquinas and Dante, literature and poetic knowledge, virtues and vices in art, etc.
