EDU 531 - Ethics in Education Ethics in Education examines the principles of ethical behavior in the field of education through the lens of the Catholic Social Tradition’s commitment to upholding the dignity of all persons. Students will also understand how different ethical perspectives influence educational policy. This course will equip students with the ability to critically analyze ethical issues and resolve them when encountered in their professional and personal lives. Special emphasis is placed upon cultivating the moral courage needed to make ethical decisions in line with the University’s mission of servant leadership and its Benedictine values.
