EDU 527 - Management Theory/Personnel School administrators must know how to effectively manage human resources in order to attain school objectives. In this course students will study the theories of human resource management and thier practical application in schools. The course is intended to provide students with an understanding of school human resources planning, personnel recruitment, selection, and induction, staff development and evaluation, compensation and collective bargaining, and the legal, ethical and policy considerations for human resource managers.
