ART 421 - Photographic Essay

The Photographic Essay focuses on the study of aesthetic and technical theories and how they apply to photo stories and essays. Students will further define their photographic vision by creating photographic essays or stories that will be worked on over time. Students learn about the major figures and art movements in Western Art beginning with Impressionism and continuing to the present day. Artistic processes and creative behavior are also emphasized.
