PHI 640 - History of Political Thought How should we live together? This course tells the story of reflection on this question; it contrasts classical political theories, rooted in a teleological conception of the human condition, with modern and postmodern theories. Philosophers studied may include Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Aquinas, Hobbes, Rousseau, Mill, and Marx.
