ITM 345 - Cyber Security I Students will gain an understanding of perimeter network defenses and how scanning and attacking networks determine weaknesses. Students will learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system. Students will also learn about intrusion detection, policy creation, social engineering, denial of service (DDoS) attacks, virus creation and other malware that can be used to compromise a system.
