PTH 812 - LAMP IV Leadership and Professionalism This course emphasizes the Leadership and Professionalism aspects of LAMP (leadership, administration, management, and professionalism.) Students explore and experience leadership and professionalism as they become more familiar with the broader health care environment and the controversial issues relating to the physical therapist profession and health and wellness. They will study how to become agents of change through knowledge of the cultural, economic, political and power structures in organizations and other social structures. Included topics are physical therapists as consultants and advocating for change via legislation, APTA House of Delegates, and changing public opinion.
