PTH 633 - Cardiopulmonary Management I This course presents the central and peripheral cardiovascular system in a cellular through system format. Emphasis will be placed on the evaluation, screening, and diagnosis regarding impairment and function. Use of the pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, oximetry, expired gas analysis, and electrocardiogram for baseline testing and subsequent monitoring is presented to include both test performance and clinical utilization. Focus is on recognition, interpretation, clinical utilization and application of examination data.
