POL 101 - Responsible Citizenship This course introduces students to politics though a grounding in the foundational ideas that inform the life of the polis. The unique resources of the American political tradition, furthermore, will be engaged as the basis from which students will learn to make responsible choices as citizens, assess contemporary political movements, and develop the acumen needed to ensure the common good.
