CSC 300 - Systems Development I - Database This course is an introduction to database systems design, implementation, and management. Database systems play a key part In systems development and are always designed as part of a larger system. The course emphasizes database design with a focus on relational database systems. Students will build a typical database application with a relational Data Base Management System. Traditional data modeling techniques are introduced for use in analyzing and designing a database. The course will also discuss database planning, administration, security, and integrity.
