Occupational Performance Major

Overview

This new major program is scheduled to begin in Summer 2024. 

The Bachelor of Science in Occupational Performance is designed for students who enter the Occupational Therapy Professional Program (masters or doctorate) during their final year of undergraduate studies. This degree includes all required pre-requisite coursework for the Occupational Therapy Program and the first two semesters of the professional occupational therapy curriculum. Students must be accepted to the professional occupational therapy program to enroll in OTH-prefix courses.

Admission Requirements

Students must be admitted to the University of Mary as bachelor’s degree-seeking students. They may declare this major at any time.

This major is designed for students who are entering the professional Occupational Therapy Program. Students in this major are not guaranteed admission into the graduate program, and must apply to the graduate-level Occupational Therapy Program through one of the identified pathways: early assurance, priority admissions, or OTCAS. See the Department of Occupational Therapy  page for more information.
