The Hamm School of Engineering offers bachelor’s degrees in the fields of Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management.
Mission
To graduate competent professionals who are well-educated, culturally prepared for the workforce, and instilled with moral courage.
Admissions Policy
To be admitted to the Hamm School of Engineering (HSEN), students must:
- declare a HSEN major
- complete at least 24 credits (including transfer credits) with a grade point average of 2.00 or better. These credits must include the following required courses with a grade point average of 2.00 or better and a grade of “C-” or better in each course:
For Construction Management majors:
- ECI 313 (3 credits), ENR 101 (1 credit), ENR 200 (3 credits), PHY 203 (4 credits) and GLG 203 (3 credits).
For all other HSEN majors:
- MAT 209 (4 credits), MAT 210 (4 credits), ENR 101 (1 credit), ENR 200 (3 credits), and PHY 251 (4 credits)
