The Virtue and Sport Concentration provides a foundation for placing the classical virtues at the core of athletic experience. Students learn how a virtue-centered approach to athletics best cultivates the mindset needed to achieve personal and collective greatness in all aspects of life. Upon completion, students will be prepared to create in their own programs and institutions a culture of greatness through virtue, which best serves scholar-athletes as they strive to compete to the limits of their abilities.
This concentration can be selected as an optional program to declare along with any of the M.Ed. or Ed.D. degree programs.
