Counseling, Addiction Counseling Certificate

Degree Type: Graduate Certificate

The Addiction Counseling Certificate is designed for current master’s degree level practitioners in the helping profession to meet the requirements for an addiction counseling licensure. Additional coursework or experiences may be required based on previous coursework and current licensure.

Students who do not wish to pursue a full master’s degree may instead choose to pursue a non-degree certificate program. This program will result in the award of a graduate certificate on the student’s official transcript. Please note: this certificate program is not eligible for Title IV funding, and therefore students will not be able to apply federal financial aid funds toward the completion of this certificate program.
