EDU 782 - Adv. School Community Relations


This course examines current issues and trends in school community relations and politics, and the associated challenges and responsibilities of the school Superintendent or CEO.  Students will engage with the instructor, colleagues, and experts in the field to explore the areas of 1) school board relations, 2) the politics of education, 3) legislative process and advocacy, 4) community engagement, 5) effective stakeholder communication, and 6) crisis management planning and communication.
