BCH 440 - Advanced Topics in Biochemistry As a discipline, biochemistry is broad in its application and is also specialized in its experimental and theoretical approaches. These rotating courses will introduce the advanced student to a number of specific topics that characterize modern biochemistry, both experimentally and theoretically. In exploring these topics, an emphasis will be placed on the reading and application of the primary literature, experiment design, interpretation of experimental results, and techniques and technology that are used at the forefront of biochemical studies.
