PSY 406 - Psychological Disorders & Treatment This course provides an overview of factors that influence the development of mental health conditions and normal and abnormal behaviors. Biological, chemical, environmental, and social approaches to treatment are presented. The theoretical and empirical basis for the emergence and maintenance of mood, anxiety, somatic, personality, substance-related, neurocognitive, psychotic, sexual, and eating disorders are included in this course.
