An introduction to computers, computing, and programming. Software introduced includes LaTeX, computer algebra systems, spreadsheets, presentation software, and possibly more. Programming topics include loops and types of basic sorting algorithms. Consideration of the role of computers in modern life, with discussions on topics such as online networking, social media, and artificial intelligence.
