EDU 383 - Foundations of Inclusive Classrooms This course prepares teachers to create learning environments where all students thrive. Participants gain practical skills for supporting diverse educational needs by engaging topics such as education law, legal frameworks (IEPs, 504 plans), evidence-based interventions, collaborative approaches with stakeholders, effective differentiation strategies for students with disabilities, advanced learning needs, and cultural/linguistic diversity. Through applied learning experiences, future educators acquire concrete tools to adapt instruction, modify curriculum, and implement classroom systems that promote the dignity and academic success for all learners in today’s diverse classrooms.
