CMT 257 - Construction Management Fundamentals This course covers the background and history of the design and construction industry, as well as the emergence of construction management as a distinct discipline. Students will explore the general principles in construction management, defining and controlling the scope of a project, visualization and spatial awareness skills, construction delivery methods, estimating and scheduling, leadership and team building skills, strategic foresight, emotional intelligence, cross-disciplinary fluency, and the most current trends in construction management.
