EDU 387 - Methods for Mild to Moderate Needs Students will deepen their understanding of students identified as benefitting from specialized support within the general education environment and limited to moderate levels of interdisciplinary support that may occur outside of the general education environment. Further, students will learn to adapt lessons and environments, and utilize technology within the context of individualized programming based on data-based decision-making and interdisciplinary team approaches. Additional areas of focus will include interventions, systems, and supports for individuals and small groups that extend beyond the general education curriculum and environments. Specialized instruction and intervention in reading (including dyslexia), math, behavior, and social/emotional skills will also be areas of focus.
