EDU 316 - Assessment of Reading This course is designed to examine effective scientific and research-based best practices used to assess reading in the elementary and middle school curriculum. Emphasis is placed on the use of data to identify reading difficulties in phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, word recognition, and comprehension skills.
