CSD 630 - AAC The purpose of this course is to acquire knowledge related to concepts, strategies, techniques and issues that are unique to the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Emphasis will include an in-depth review of the assessment process, as well as the AAC needs of individuals with developmental and acquired disabilities across the lifespan. Practical experience with numerous methods of AAC strategies and devices will provide a clearer understanding of AAC intervention.
