COU 695 - Clinical Mental Health Internship The internship is a supervised field experience that occurs in a professional clinical mental health counseling setting. Theoretical application of knowledge and clinical techniques is emphasized with groups and individual clients, under clinical supervision from both field and counseling faculty supervisors.
Students will utilize knowledge and skills gained in previous coursework in a supervised clinical mental health counseling setting. Students will receive both site and group supervision to increase knowledge of the profession and increase skill base.
