Dual Degree Program in Civil Engineering
The University of Mary has partnered with the University of North Dakota (UND) to offer degrees in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. Through this unique partnership, the student can remain on the University of Mary campus throughout their four years, taking some of their junior and senior level courses via the UND online program. Degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering are also available with the UND online courses beginning in the sophomore year. Currently, a student completing the program will receive a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from the University of Mary, as well as an ABET accredited degree in Engineering from the University of North Dakota. Students must meet the requirements for both the Engineering Science program and UND’s Electrical Engineering program. The below list of course requirements will satisfy the requirements for both the University of Mary and the University of North Dakota.
Plans for the Future
The University of Mary is planning the construction of a new Engineering building and laboratories which, upon completion, will enable future students to complete their entire Civil Engineering degree at the University of Mary.
