Virtue and Sport Certificate

The Virtue and Sport Graduate Certificate provides a foundation for placing the classical virtues at the core of athletic experience. Participants learn how a virtue-centered approach to athletics best cultivates the mindset needed to achieve personal and collective greatness in all aspects of life. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to create in their own programs and institutions a culture of greatness through virtue, which best serves scholar-athletes as they strive to compete to the limits of their abilities.

Students who do not wish to pursue a full master’s degree may instead choose to pursue a non-degree certificate program. This program will result in the award of a graduate certificate on the student’s official transcript. Please note: this certificate program is not eligible for Title IV funding, and therefore students will not be able to apply federal financial aid funds toward the completion of this certificate program.
