Human Resources Management Certificate

For students pursuing a master’s degree from the Gary Tharaldson School of Business, this certificate can be declared as part of their program of study.

Students who do not wish to pursue a full master’s degree may instead choose to pursue a non-degree certificate program on its own. This program will result in the award of a graduate certificate on the student’s official transcript. Please note: when pursued independently of a full master’s degree program, this certificate program is not eligible for Title IV funding. Students taking this option will not be able to apply federal financial aid funds toward the completion of this certificate program.

The Human Resources Management certificate is designed according to the human resources body of knowledge defined by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and applies toward the body of knowledge defined by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This certification enhances HR professionals’ skills as innovative leaders and effective problem-solvers.
