Informed by the Benedictine tradition and in accordance with the Magisterium, the High School Chaplaincy for Priests Certificate at the University of Mary prepares Catholic priests for effective teaching and evangelization of Catholic high school students. Upon completion of the certification program, priests will be ready to implement a chaplaincy program in a Catholic high school and effectively teach a Catholic high school religion course.
Students who do not wish to pursue a full master’s degree may instead choose to pursue a non-degree certificate program. This program will result in the award of a graduate certificate on the student’s official transcript. Please note: this certificate program is not eligible for Title IV funding, and therefore students will not be able to apply federal financial aid funds toward the completion of this certificate program.
