Special Education Major

Degree Types: Bachelor of Science (default) or Bachelor of Arts (alternative)

Special education majors develop personal and professional skills that prepare them for a variety of career options supporting people with disabilities in schools, human service agencies, adult education, and community-home support. The curriculum will equip students with the knowledge and skills to confidently approach the field through authentic study, application, and experiences. University of Mary students who complete the major in Special Education meet eligibility requirements for North Dakota special education licensure.
