The complexity of healthcare is exponential and largely influenced by technology. Quality improvement and performance reporting are critical components of any functioning health organization. Both are dependent on data mining, cleansing, analysis, knowledge development, and knowledge translation. The field of health informatics has emerged as an essential element in healthcare organizational viability. This concentration equips health professionals to be better prepared for roles within healthcare organizations.

This concentration is available as an optional add-on to all MSN and DNP programs.
