The University of Mary Master of Science in Business program helps students develop skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to excel in complex and constantly changing environment. The MS has a strong emphasis on leadership and soft skills. With several optional areas of concentration, the degree can be tailored for specific career goals.
MS Program Outcomes
Students completing a Master of Science in Business degree will be able to:
- Integrate decisions utilizing Benedictine values, ethical frameworks, and professional standards.
- Evaluate the contemporary global business environment in an integrated manner to propose business solutions.
- Demonstrate professional business communication.
- Interpret results from multiple business support tools to inform decision making.
- Synthesize content from professional journals and scholarly research to make conclusions regarding business practices.
- Assess business best practices using qualitative methodology.

Required Core
The following courses are core content for the MS and are completed by all MS students: Choose One: Concentration
Students are required to select one concentration to complete the M.S. in Business program.
Total: 36 Semester Credits
Program length: 2 academic years / 4 semesters / 64 weeks
- Note: adding an additional optional concentration is allowed, but will extend program length on average by one semester
