CTH 330 - Catholicism and the Modern World A comprehensive examination of Catholicism in relation to historical developments beginning in the Enlightenment and French Revolution. Treats the challenges and possibilities stemming from the encounter between Catholicism and the modern world as expressed In Ideas, cultures, and events since the eighteenth century. Either this course or CTH 310 /HIS 310 Catholicism and America is required for the Catholic Studies major; advanced elective for Catholic Studies minor. Upper-level World History elective for History Education majors.
