NUR 248 - Health Assessment This course emphasizes the integration of skilled observation, systematic data collection, proficient examination, and effective communication in performing patient-centered, holistic health assessments with lifespan, ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural, and health risk reduction (genetic/genomic) considerations. Students utilize the liberal arts core, Benedictine values, professional values, QSEN principles, and the nursing process in obtaining, organizing and interpreting health assessment data.
