OTH 741 - Mental Health Conditions in OT Students develop and integrate knowledge and skills related to the occupational therapy process for persons with psychosocial conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders and others. Within the context of the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework and frames of reference guiding occupational therapy practice, students apply the occupational therapy process including evaluation (occupational profile, analysis of occupational performance), intervention (plan, implement and review), and outcomes. Course will integrate normal development, human health conditions, assessment tools, models of practice and frames of reference into the occupational therapy process.
