THE 440 - The Theology and Legacy of St. Augustine This course examines St. Augustine of Hippo’s enduring contributions to Christian theology, thought, religion, and culture. It explores his intellectual and existential pilgrimage from pagan seeker to Christian convert, bishop, and Doctor of the Church and investigates his theological integration of ancient philosophy with dogmatic, moral, and biblical approaches to understanding the Triune God revealed In Jesus Christ and encountered in the Church.
