THE 332 - Eucharist This course explores the central, repeatable sacrament of the Christian life from a historical and theological perspective, beginning with the Scripture and tracing the development of the Eucharistic rite to the Novus Ordo. Primary attention will be given to the Church’s theological efforts to understand this great mystery of the faith. Focused study will be accorded to the Eucharistic prayers and to topics of sacrifice, real presence, and ecclesial communion.
