PHY 251 - Engineering Physics I: Classical Mechanics Physics 251 is a detailed introduction of calculus based classical mechanics. The four credit course for engineering/ science students requires an understanding of Calculus I (prerequisite/Corequisite). This course develops the fundamentals of Mechanics and problem solving skills essential for science and engineering majors. PHY 251 is a requirement for engineering majors.
