NUR 906 - Healthcare Finance & Economics This course focuses on the fiscal management concepts of healthcare systems. Analytical methods will be used to appraise economic aspects across various sectors of the healthcare system including clinics, underserved and rural populations, organizations, local, state and federal health care budgets, and the economic aspects of healthcare reform. The course applies tools of analysis to the behavior of households, healthcare providers, health insurance organizations, pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, and not-for-profit and federally funded clinics.
