NUR 443 - Critical Care Nursing This course focuses on nursing care of adult patients experiencing acute, complex and potentially unstable illnesses. Students use high acuity nursing principles to prevent potential complications of and optimize recovery from serious illness. The nursing process and Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) principles provide direction to promote and restore optimum health in the seriously ill patient.
