CEP 621 - Exercise Prescription & Chronic Conditions This course involves continued study and application of evidence based safe and effective exercise programming (prescription) for people with chronic disease and special conditions. Clinical case assessment, problem based learning, and evidence in the research literature are emphasized with exercise prescription for people who have conditions and diseases such as cardiac, pulmonary, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, HIV, stroke, spinal cord injury, non-specific low back pain, and cerebral palsy. This course includes building on assessment skills and clinic experience.
