BIO 415 - Conservation Biology Conservation biology is an emerging field of ecology that focuses on integrating information on fundamental ecological principles, economics, and ethics into a framework for managing and restoring plants and animals that are threatened by overexploitation or habitat changes induced by human uses of resources and the Earth’s rapidly growing human population. This course will provide an introduction into the rapidly expanding realm of conservation science.
