THE 338 - Religions in the United States This course examines the role of religion In the American experience from the period of European exploration and colonization to the present. It concentrates on the development of Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant traditions and also traces the transformation of Native American religions, the rise of new religious movements and the transplantation of other world religions.
