THE 312 - Religions of Asia The course examines the history, beliefs, and practices of the great world religions that originated in ancient south and east Asia while developing a theology of religions. The course concentrates on Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism and also investigates traditions such as Jainism, Sikhism, and Shinto. The course surveys the development of each tradition interaction among the traditions, and the diverse forms of each tradition around the world today.
