COU 695 - Internship The internship is a supervised field experience that occurs in a professional counseling setting, during the student’s second year in the counseling program. Theoretical application of knowledge and clinical techniques is emphasized with groups and individual clients, under clinical supervision from both field and counseling faculty supervisors.
Note: students are also required to attend a 90-minute group supervision class once a week in conjunction with this course.
