Pre-Law Concentration

To enter an approved school for the study of law, a person is expected to have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and to have successfully completed the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). A degree which concentrates on the  development of critical thinking, effective writing, and strong oral communication skills is a good preparation. Pre-Law Concentration is best suited for majors in: Accounting, Business, Mass Communication, Criminal Justice, English, History Education, and Social & Behavioral Sciences. When the following courses have been completed the student will receive a notation of “Pre-Law Concentration” on his/her transcript.
